Spain, Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon
I bought this on the recommendation of one of the helpful sales clerks. I'm going to mull it. He said that it was an excellent choice - spicy , not too fruity. I'll let you know what I think...
A few days later...
Ok - I mulled it. Crockpot, spices, sugar and an orange. Should have had some brandy. Oh well. It is a nice wine, and there is some tannin aftertaste - I think that it would have been much nicer just out of the bottle. I should have saved a glass to drink in comparison. I'm learning. Oh - and I have to note - it has a black cork - sacrilege to purists - I know - but cool.
